After trying a number of other devices to carry four-by-eight sheets of plywood and sheetrock, I splurged and ordered this panel carrier. If you are old like me and are working with sheets of plywood, BUY THIS CARRIER.
It might be the smartest purchase I’ve made! I have them deliver the flooring and sheetrock to my porch. I roll this carrier next to a sheet, lift one side of the panel to the carrier, go to the other side an lift it up. Then, I just roll the panel to where I am going to use it and reverse the process.
If I am going to cut the sheet, I tilt the panel up so it is laying flat and make my cuts.
I always struggle to run large panel of plywood through the table saw. I have set the panel carrier to the same height as my table saw. I lift each side of the panel onto the carrier while it is tilted down. Flip the sheet parallel to the ground and can take the entire sheet up to the table saw and begin my cut. When half way done, I flip off the saw and move the carrier to the other side and complete the cut. (Actually, after finding how handy the carriers are, I bought another one.)
