If you are wiring anything, this tool is an absolute must. It does everything. It cuts and strips the wires. It strips the romex cable and even makes the eye bend for screw connections. It also has wide plier grips for grabbing romex or anything else.
After borrowing the family label printer for the zillionth time, I went ahead and purchased one to keep at the job site. I label the wiring, plumbing, breaker boxes, and just about everything else you can think of. I am currently working in the breaker box and the labels make it look so professional.
A must for deep holes. Just tighten the bit into the extension and drill away.
After trying a number of other devices to carry four-by-eight sheets of plywood and sheetrock, I splurged and ordered this panel carrier. If you are old like me and are working with sheets of plywood, BUY THIS CARRIER. It might be the smartest purchase I’ve made! I have them deliver the flooring and sheetrock to my porch. If you work with much glue, this dispenser is a must. It’s ingenious design pulls the glue from the BOTTOM of the reservoir of glue so it never skins over.
This handy device allows you to take down vinyl siding without wrecking it. It’s simple but does the job. The siding I have been working with is old and brittle. Before I got this tool, I snapped a piece out of just about every siding piece I tried to remove.
This device is a must for every homeowner who does any electrical work. It’s super simple. Touch each of the lead to the end of each wire to check for power. Or, poke each lead into each side on an outlet to check for power.
This device detects small amounts of most types of gas. I use it to check my natural gas fittings. I’m a bit of a worrier, so I use two different electronic leak detectors AND spray each of the fitting with a soapy solution to make sure there are no leaks.
